Baking a cupcake, or ate too many?
I didn't want to post again until after my first prenatal appointment (which is less than a week away... EEeeEEe!!!!) but I had to post this comparison shot of my little belly. I thought since I was in pretty good shape that I wouldn't show until I was out of the first trimester. Boy was I wrong. All in all I'm up from 106 lbs pre-pregnancy to about 108.5 lbs according to my fancy schmancy digital scale. I've read that's quite a bit, especially since I'm only 7-8 weeks along. Luckily I happened to be wearing the same outfit (down to the shoes apparently) that I was photographed in right before I was pregnant.
Probably not a huge difference to anyone but me, but I think I look like I raided the bakery. Not totally true, but sort of. Let me clarify: I'm not eating alot more than I used to, just snacking more frequently. Not gorging myself on cupcakes, more like eating an extra yogurt cup if I'm hungry. I do feel like I'm always hungry though. I've always had this weird thing with blood sugar, and if I don't eat pretty frequently (2-3 hours) I feel really nauseated. With this pregnancy, it's like I need to eat more at night or I feel sick. I think I can attribute this to morning sickness, but I thought most women felt so sick they couldn't eat. I feel like if I don't eat, I'm going to be sick. Right. NOW. It's really bad at night. We usually eat dinner around 7 or so, and by 8:30 I need a snack or I'm going be really sorry. Then when I wake up in the morning I'm completely nauseated until I eat breakfast. Then I'm fine for the rest of the day. So.... weird...
